They are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to provide outstanding customer service, assist with administrative tasks, and support field staff in the Slow the Flow program.ResponsibilitiesHelp people conserve water by becoming an expert on Slow the Flow program processes, procedures, and software; we provide trainingDeliver outstanding customer service for all program participants, primarily via phone and emailSchedule Slow the Flow appointments including sprinkler evaluations and smart control clock and rain sensor installationsSupport 15+ field staff as they provide Slow the Flow water conservation servicesParticipate in regularly scheduled meetings in person, online, and on the phoneAssist with other Slow the Flow tasks or Resource Central programs as assignedFoster Inclusion to help build a strong sense of belonging by ensuring everyone feels welcomed, valued, and included at Resource CentralSkillsOutstanding customer service skills and ability to maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude is requiredMust be at least 18 years of age upon start date; High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail requiredComputer skills and proficiency with Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word required; we provide computer equipmentAbility to work remotely with reliable access to the internet requiredValid driver's license, automobile insurance, access to a reliable automobile, and a smartphone requiredMust pass and maintain a clean background check and driving record evaluation if offered a positionTravel to Boulder or other Colorado Front Range cities approximately 10% of the time requiredAbility to safely lift up to 30 lbs and willingness to work outside approximately 10% of the time requiredKnowledge of water conservation, gardening, sprinkler systems, lawn removal, or low-water landscaping preferredBilingual skills are a plusBenefitsOpportunities to earn bonuses based on exceptional attendanceCell phone stipendPaid trainingAccrued paid sick leaveCompany OverviewResource Central is a non-profit organization that helps people save water, reduce waste, and conserve energy.
