What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries from customers, ensuring prompt and courteous responses
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of internal policies and procedures to assist customers effectively
- Utilize automated systems for accurate data entry and information retrieval
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, escalating when necessary
- Document call details and maintain accurate records of interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2+ years of customer service or telephone experience in a call center environment
- Proficient verbal and listening skills for professional customer interactions
- Effective PC skills, including proficiency in electronic mail and industry-standard applications
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Completion of medical terminology course(s)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and/or experience in the health insurance industry
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
