Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative with Arsenault, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
Interacting with beneficiaries and providers via the helpline, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Creating, formatting, and proofreading letters to ensure accuracy and clarity
Managing and maintaining records to ensure timeliness and accuracy
Making complex decisions regarding appeals and other customer inquiries
Communicating effectively with internal and external customers, including verbal and written communication
Fostering effective working relationships with internal and external customers to ensure seamless service delivery
Participating in quality control activities to assess individual work and team processes
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed as a Customer Service Representative with Arsenault, you'll need:
High school diploma or equivalent
Post-high school business courses or experience in a related field
Medical terminology or experience in a healthcare setting
Excellent verbal communication skills, including a courteous and patient demeanor
Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, and written communication skills
Customer-focused and results-oriented with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
General knowledge of PC-based computer systems and software packages, with the ability to learn new systems as needed
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
We prefer candidates with:
Two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities
Prior experience in a healthcare setting or medical terminology
Previous data entry or other clerical experience
