Customer Service Representative - Remote

We’re on the hunt for some folks to join our team as Customer Service Representatives — people who love Vermont like we do and swear by our practical and hard-to-find products so they can help our customers find just what they need and a little something they want from our catalog and online store. Full and part time positions available! If that sounds like fun, you may be just the person we’re looking for! The majority of our Customer Service Representatives work from the comfort of their own homes in Vermont! Others prefer to work in our call center in Rutland, Vt. Every Customer Service Representative receives on-the-job training! Equipment including laptop, monitor and keyboard are provided for remote Customer Service Representatives. Location: 15 West St, Rutland, Vt. Current Customer Service Hours of Operation: Monday – Saturday : 8:00am – 8:00pm Sunday: 10:00am – 6:30pm A Sampling of What You’ll Do Answer customer phone calls to assist with placing orders from our catalog or online store Answer customer questions about products and orders Become knowledgeable about products offered by The Vermont Country Store Build relationships and engage customers during phone calls Who We’re Looking For Must be a Vermont resident, work must be performed in Vermont Must have an internet speed of at least 40mbps for remote work Must be at least 16 years of age Dependable, enthusiastic, and flexible team player Ability to learn new computer applications Ability to use a laptop, keyboard and mouse Desire to work in a fast-paced environment About Us The Vermont Country Store is one of the most unique and beloved companies in America.
