Customer Service Representative – Order Entry
ISCAR METALS, INC., a dynamic and innovative cutting tool company, has an opening for a Customer Service Representative to join our Order Entry team at our corporate office in Arlington, TX. Order Entry CSR will provide customer service by phone and e-mail. Primary duties consist of accurate order/data entry and responding to customer questions/requests in a pleasant and efficient manner.
Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Process orders:
• Process orders - standard items, blanket orders, test orders, and promotional items.
• Identify discrepancies/exceptions and correspond with appropriate person(s) to reach acceptable resolution.
• File purchase order and related correspondence/information in documentation folder.
Answer incoming phone and e-mail information requests:
• Check item number, price, availability, order status, provide shipment information and expedite back orders.
• Order maintenance and changes as requested/required and add related correspondence/documentation to order folder.
• Perform other duties as requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: WORK EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Must have ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to multitask in a fast to medium paced work environment
• Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills
• Dependable and committed to scheduled adherence expectations.
• Must possess deductive reasoning skills.
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Must have ability to work with patience and courtesy in customer relations
