Customer Service Representative I

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative I to join our client's team in New Holland, PA. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members, agents, and claimants, providing exceptional support and ensuring timely resolution of inquiries. This position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
? Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, or other communication methods.
? Assess the nature of customer issues and determine whether they can be resolved within the customer service team's authority.
? Resolve inquiries related to underwriting, claims, accounting, and marketing, within designated guidelines.
? Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate department and ensure follow-through.
? Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and track service trends for continuous improvement.
? Greet and assist visitors while monitoring building access (if assigned to front-desk duties).
? Support administrative tasks such as folding and assembling renewal mailings as needed.
? Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
? High School diploma or equivalent required.
? Willingness to learn property and casualty insurance terminology and processes; prior experience in this area is a plus.
? Proven ability to deliver effective customer service; previous experience preferred.
? Proficiency with communication tools, software, and standard office equipment.
? Capability to work in a professional office environment, operate a computer for extended periods, and move work materials weighing up to 10 pounds.
? Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temp-Hire

START DATE: ASAP (pending interviews)

PAY RATE: $20/hr.

HOURS: M-F, 8-4:30pm with a 30 min unpaid lunch

DRESS CODE: Business Casual
