Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Greet every guest with a warm, approachable demeanor, actively listen to their needs, and provide knowledgeable assistance that helps them find the right products quickly.
Merchandise Management: Unload delivery trucks, sort and organize merchandise, and transport items from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing.
Sales Floor Support: Independently stock shelves, replenish inventory, and recover misplaced items to keep the store tidy and shopper‑friendly throughout the day.
Transaction Processing: Accurately handle cash, credit, and digital payments using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, maintaining strict adherence to careerzynith’s cash handling policies.
Safety & Security: Remain vigilant of customer activity, promptly address any safety concerns, and help create a secure shopping environment for both guests and teammates.

Essential Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; candidates must demonstrate the ability to follow written directives and interpret retail operational documents.
Experience: Prior experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, grocery, or drugstore environments is advantageous, showcasing familiarity with fast‑paced customer service settings.
Physical Capability: Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lb (occasionally up to 55 lb) from floor level to above shoulder height, and to perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting tasks.
Availability: Flexible schedule that includes full‑time hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, ensuring adequate coverage during peak shopping periods.
