Job Summary:
As an Independent Contractor with ACD Direct, you will be providing your skills, expertise and services to the clients we represent. We are looking for those who consider themselves among the best of the best in the customer service industry to help answer inbound calls from our clientยs enthusiastic callers. Job Qualifications:
ย Minimum of 3 months of customer service experience, preferably telephone based or call center oriented.
ย Ability to type 40 wpm or higher with an emphasis on accuracy.
ย Moderate Proficiency in Computer Operation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting.
ย Ability to complete online certification using resources we provide independently with minimal assistance.
ย Pleasant, enthusiastic phone presence with attention to intonation, diction, and inflection.
ย Ability to Read Scripting provided by our clients verbatim.
ย Previous experience working in a remote atmosphere is preferred but not required.
ย Ability to successfully clear a criminal background check.
Office Environment:
Your workspace must be in an appropriate, private location free of all background noises. Contractor acknowledges that necessary business office equipment includes computer and other equipment that properly meets ACD Direct, client and security compatibility requirements, specifically high-speed internet and a landline for business use. An audit of work environments may be conducted to ensure compliance.
Computer Requirements:
ย Windows Based PC with Anti-Malware Security Software
Note:Mac/Apple systems are not compatible with ACD Direct platforms and programs.
ย Chromebooks are not acceptable
ย Minimum 2 GB RAM;
ย CPU (Intel or AMD) 2GHz processor (or equivalent)
ย Resolution of 1,280 x 720 (720p) or greater
Internet Requirements:
Minimum bandwidth requirements are 10Mbps Upload and 25 Mbps Download.
