Customer Service Representative (100% Remote)

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is remote in any of the following locations: Tysons and Richmond, VA, and Plano, TX.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5 Eastern Time
Responsibilities
• Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services
• Handle and resolve customer service and billing complaints, including exchanges, refunds, and bill adjustments
• Respond to customer inquiries and follow up on claim investigation results and planned adjustments
• Escalate unresolved customer issues to the appropriate internal departments for further investigation
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
• Gather and review relevant information to assess complaint validity and determine root causes
• Proactively offer additional products or services when appropriate
• Manage inbound, outbound, or blended customer service calls
• Work independently to manage assigned cases while meeting service-level expectations
Skills And Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• 5-7 years of customer service or call center experience
• Experience working in a remote customer service environment preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience using Google Workspace tools required
• Familiarity with call center phone systems preferred
• Proficiency with standard computer applications such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
