Position Overview
The Customer Service Associate at arenaflex is the face of the brand, providing friendly, efficient, and accurate service while supporting store operations. Working closely with the Store Manager and the broader operations team, you will help maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and welcoming environment, ensuring that each guest leaves with a smile.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Interaction: Greet customers warmly, respond to inquiries, and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Transaction Management: Accurately operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, handle cash, credit, and mobile payments, and ensure proper cash drawer reconciliation at shift end.
Product Knowledge: Stay up‑to‑date on arenaflex menu items, seasonal promotions, and loyalty programs to recommend items and upsell where appropriate.
Food Safety & Quality: Prepare and serve food and beverages following food safety standards, maintain temperature logs, and conduct regular quality checks.
Store Upkeep: Keep the sales floor, service counter, and back‑of‑house areas clean and organized; perform routine sanitation tasks in compliance with health regulations.
Inventory Support: Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, rotating products, and conducting inventory counts as directed.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with fellow associates and management, sharing insights that improve workflow and guest satisfaction.
Loss Prevention: Monitor for potential theft, adhere to store security protocols, and report any suspicious activity promptly.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in training sessions, provide feedback on processes, and adopt best practices to enhance operational efficiency.


Essential Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality is a plus.
Minimum of 6 months experience in a fast‑paced retail or food‑service environment (experience in convenience stores, coffee shops, or quick‑service restaurants preferred).
Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, upbeat demeanor.
Strong verbal communication skills; ability to listen actively and respond clearly.
Basic mathematical proficiency for handling cash transactions and inventory counts.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.


Preferred Qualifications & Desirable Attributes

Previous experience with POS systems and cash handling protocols.
Familiarity with food safety certifications such as ServSafe®.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets or upselling goals.
Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish, to better serve a diverse customer base.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
