Role and Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service, you will play an essential role in customer satisfaction and store efficiency. Your responsibilities include:
• Embrace a cordial and polished demeanor when addressing customers.
• Skillfully carry out customer transactions, involving cash, credit, debit card processing, as well as coupon and loyalty program utilization.
• Aid in answering questions about products and giving advice to enhance the customer experience.
• Follow company protocols concerning restricted items, including alcohol and tobacco, to stay in line with policies.
• Keep the cash register area secure, neat, and orderly.
• Ensure the cash register is reconciled correctly and comply with cash-handling guidelines to prevent any loss.
• Showcase the range of Kroger services, programs, and promotional campaigns to attract customer attention and engagement.
• Comply with company protocol when addressing pricing variations, safety concerns, and theft occurrences.
• Support store teamwork by assisting colleagues and fostering a positive atmosphere in the workplace.

Mandatory Abilities and Experience:
• Ability to excel in customer service within a fast-paced atmosphere.
• Basic math competencies including counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Competence in effective communication and interpersonal interactions.
• Ability to handle stress while maintaining professional standards.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior background working as a cashier, courtesy clerk, or in customer service roles.
• Proficiency in two or more languages.
