Role Overview

In this role, you will act as the bridge between our engineering innovators and the real‑world retail environments where our technology is deployed. You will evaluate new hardware and software solutions, gather and interpret customer feedback, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for our product and development teams. This position is ideal for someone who loves to travel, enjoys hands‑on problem solving, and is passionate about delivering world‑class experiences to end‑users.

Key Responsibilities

Travel to customer locations across the United States (approximately 50% of the time) to install, configure, and test new hardware and software solutions.
Collect qualitative and quantitative feedback from store staff and shoppers, using structured interview techniques, surveys, and observational studies.
Analyze collected data to quantify the impact of new technology on key performance indicators such as checkout time, error rates, and shopper satisfaction.
Prepare concise, compelling reports and presentations that summarize findings, highlight risks, and recommend next steps for senior leadership.
Maintain detailed documentation of deployment procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best‑practice guidelines to support future roll‑outs.
Identify emerging trends in retail technology and propose innovative enhancements that align with careerzynith’s strategic roadmap.

Basic Qualifications

A four‑year degree in a science or engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Minimum of two (2) years of product development experience in consumer hardware, including design, testing, and field deployment.
Proven track record of teaching or presenting technical material to non‑technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to assess risk/reward trade‑offs and make informed decisions in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (if not already covered by the basic qualification).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate data collection and analysis tasks.
Formal training or coursework in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum).
Experience with retail or point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, especially those involving sensor‑based checkout technologies.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
