Customer Care Professional, Beneficiary Claim Support - Remote
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Customer Care Professional to join our Beneficiary Claim Support team at Thrivent. As a Customer Care Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their loved ones by providing exceptional support and guidance during a challenging time. Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized support to clients and their families navigating the beneficiary claims process
Build rapport with callers from diverse backgrounds to assess their situation and present solutions
Navigate multiple systems to gather relevant information and provide clear, concise, and positive language
Focus on quality and first-call resolution, while minimizing processing time and after-call work
Collaborate with tenured teammates and structured training to ensure ongoing professional development
What We Offer:
Competitive salary: $19.41 - $26.26 per hour, depending on location and experience

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience; post-secondary education preferred
Customer service, financial services, or insurance experience preferred
Experience navigating complex customer interactions from support through to resolution
Ability to be empathetic and understanding when discussing death claims with clients and loved ones
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Internet speed: 30 mbps download/10 mbps upload required
Remote work requirements: private, secure, distraction-free, remote workspace with reliable power and hard-wired internet connection
