Custodial Project Manager

Position Title: Custodial Project ManagerLocation: Remote (30-40% Travel will be required to multiple locations within WI)Salary Range: $60,000-65,000 AnnuallyEmployment Class: Exempt- Full Time Regular Position SummaryThe Custodial Project Manager is responsible for the overall management, performance, and compliance of janitorial services across multiple contract locations. This role ensures services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, company standards, and customer expectations. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for employees and the COR, while maintaining accountability for staffing, quality control, reporting, and operational continuity. Essential Duties & Responsibilities· Contract Operations Managemento Oversee weekly custodial operations across multiple assigned locationso Ensure all services are performed at a minimum frequency of once per week, or as required by contacto Track, coordinate, and execute all required annual and semi-annual custodial tasks in accordance with contract requirements and established scheduleso Provide coverage for janitorial services during employee call-outs, vacancies, or unforeseen circumstances to ensure uninterrupted service and continued compliance with contract requirements· Quality Control & Complianceo Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with contract requirements and company quality standardso Identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions in a timely and documented mannero Ensure all required documentation is maintained onsite, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and blank service tickets.o Maintain accurate records to support contract compliance and auditso Report hazards, incidents, or compliance concerns promptly· Workforce Managemento Communicate regularly with custodial staff to provide direction, support, and accountabilityo Ensure employees are properly completing and submitting service tickets after each serviceo Review and approve employee timesheets for accuracy and completenesso Address performance issues through coaching, corrective actions, and personnel management process· Communicationo Serve as the primary liaison between the government COR and the company operations teamo Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and service requestso Collect, review, and track service tickets to ensure all work is documented and aligned with expectations.o Submit monthly batches of service tickets to operations team· Inventory and Supply Managemento Track inventory levels of supplies and equipment across all locationso Submit supply orders to company operations team in a timely manner to prevent service disruptiono Ensure janitorial closets are properly stocked, organized, and compliant with safety standardso Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed Education & Experience:· High School Diploma or equivalent required. · 5+ years’ mid-level management experience· Experience managing multiple sites preferred· Familiarity with Army Reserve Units preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:· Knowledge of janitorial best practices· Strong attention to detail· Familiar with Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel. · Ability to manage time and tasks independently· Must demonstrate forward thinking, excellent communication skills and a high level of customer service· Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability in all interactions Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands· The work environment characteristics described in the job description are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds· For extended periods of time may be required to stand or walk; push or pull heavy equipment.
