Curriculum Consultant & Writer (January–May 2026) Remote | Part-Time Contract We are seeking an experienced Curriculum Consultant and Writer to help transform our team’s ideas into a cohesive, consumable curriculum intended for youth audiences. This role is ideal for a seasoned K–5 or K–12 educator with a strong background in curriculum design from initial concept through final, polished product. Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with our team to translate conceptual ideas into structured, engaging curriculum materials. 2. Develop curriculum content that breaks down complex concepts into accessible, youth-friendly lessons and activities. 3. Participate in bi-monthly Zoom meetings (Eastern Standard Time zone) 4. Integrate feedback from team members and community partners to refine curriculum drafts. 5. (Preferred) Assist with creating a simple website or social media presence to showcase and disseminate the curriculum. Required Qualifications: 1. Experience as a K–5 or K–12 educator. 2. Demonstrated ability to design curriculum from conception to final deliverable. 3. Experience working with youth-serving organizations (required). 4. Strong collaboration skills and fluent English communication. 5. Ability to work remotely and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience working with local communities. 2. Basic to intermediate tech/digital skills (website builders, social media setup, or similar). 3. Creative thinker who can offer ideas as well as execute on provided concepts.
