What you’ll do: Design MYP Assessment Prototypes – Create and validate new approaches to MYP assessment through discovery, user research, and co-design with schools. Lead Participatory Design Work – Conduct immersive workshops, map user journeys, and synthesise findings into prototypes. Prototype and Test Solutions – Develop, iterate, and test new assessment and learning designs directly with educators. Collaborate in AI-first Workflows – Partner with AI specialists and subject experts to explore how generative AI can enhance curriculum and assessment design. What we’re looking for: IB MYP Expertise – Deep understanding of the Middle Years Programme, especially its assessment approaches. Instructional Design & Pedagogy – Strong skills in content structuring, assessment creation, and scaffolding learning experiences. Research & Co-design – Experience with user research and participatory design, ideally in classroom contexts. AI-First Mindset – Comfort using generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to ideate, refine, and accelerate workflows. Strong Communicator & Collaborator – Excellent English skills and proven success working with diverse stakeholders. Background in Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s in Education, subject area, or instructional design, plus 5+ years of relevant experience. Timeline This is a contractor role running from September 2025 – February 2026.
