We are looking for a highly motivated Cryptography Engineer to design, develop, maintain and integrate secure cryptographic solutions across our platform. You will work closely with architecture team and product teams to build scalable, secure systems leveraging Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), key management infrastructure, and modern cryptographic practices.



This role is ideal for engineers passionate about applied cryptography, secure system design, and solving real-world security challenges in large-scale environments.



Roles and Responsibilities



Design, implement, and maintain cryptographic solutions, including integration and customization of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) to provide secure cryptographic services.

Design, implement, and maintain secure processes for generation and management of cryptographic assets (e.g., cryptographic keys) within a controlled environment.

Collaborate with Product Owners and security experts to implement secure cryptographic workflows and tooling

Provide cryptography guidance and consultancy to engineering teams, promoting the correct use of cryptographic primitives and best practices.

Support internal and external stakeholders by troubleshooting cryptographic implementations, managing technical issues, and clearly communicating complex concepts.



Requirements



Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 2 years of experience in software development.

Strong programming skills in C and Java, experience with Python and Shell scripting is a plus.

Strong interest in cryptography and/or security engineering.

Good understanding of cryptographic algorithms (e.g., AES, RSA, ECC, Diffie-Hellman, SHA).

Good understanding of Key management principles (e.g., Key generation, secure storage, rotation, revocation, and secure distribution).

Familiarity with secure coding practices and system security fundamentals.

Exposure to or willingness to work with HSMs or secure key storage systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively.

Should have experience with PKCS#11, JCE, and popular cryptographic libraries.

Should have experience at backend / web application / server development would be preferred.

Good knowledge or exposure to public Key Infrastructure (PKI), TLS; and Key Management Systems (KMS), tokenization, or secure enclave technologies.

Ability to understand stakeholder needs and provide recommendations based on security best practices.
