Crew Leader - Night 3rd Shift (starting pay $18.00)
About the position
The Crew Leader is responsible for leading a team of employees to efficiently complete, record and report daily and weekly night tasks and on time. This position supervises but does not directly manage a Night Shift team.
Responsibilities
⢠Train and motivate team members to reach daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
⢠Conduct daily meetings to provide clear instruction on night tasks.
⢠Ensure safety policies and operations processes are being followed at all times.
⢠Responsible for setting up all work areas.
⢠Maintain consistent communication with Managers and Directors.
⢠Responsible for completing nightly reports.
⢠Responsible for successfully completing all required training.
⢠Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
⢠Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
⢠1+ year(s) experience in a leadership role
⢠1+ year(s) experience in Manufacturing/Warehouse environment
⢠Strong leadership skills and ability to give/receive constructive feedback.
⢠Effective verbal and written communication skills.
⢠Basic math skills
⢠Ability to work and communicate across multiple departments.
⢠Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
⢠Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and seek solutions to problems.
⢠Detailed-oriented with the ability to multitask.
⢠Must be able to work in various types of weather conditions.
⢠Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
⢠Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required.
⢠Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens.
⢠There are occasional needs to work in confined spaces.
⢠Position requires long-term ability for standing, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties.
⢠Ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including but not limited to operating the table lifter and get certified and operate on internal vehicles.
⢠Ability to lift 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
