Crew Leader - Night 3rd Shift (starting pay \$18.00)
About the position
The Crew Leader is responsible for leading a team of employees to efficiently complete, record and report daily and weekly night tasks and on time. This position supervises but does not directly manage a Night Shift team.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Train and motivate team members to reach daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
ā¢ Conduct daily meetings to provide clear instruction on night tasks.
ā¢ Ensure safety policies and operations processes are being followed at all times.
ā¢ Responsible for setting up all work areas.
ā¢ Maintain consistent communication with Managers and Directors.
ā¢ Responsible for completing nightly reports.
ā¢ Responsible for successfully completing all required training.
ā¢ Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
ā¢ Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
ā¢ 1+ year(s) experience in a leadership role
ā¢ 1+ year(s) experience in Manufacturing/Warehouse environment
ā¢ Strong leadership skills and ability to give/receive constructive feedback.
ā¢ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
ā¢ Basic math skills
ā¢ Ability to work and communicate across multiple departments.
ā¢ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
ā¢ Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and seek solutions to problems.
ā¢ Detailed-oriented with the ability to multitask.
ā¢ Must be able to work in various types of weather conditions.
ā¢ Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
ā¢ Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required.
ā¢ Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens.
ā¢ There are occasional needs to work in confined spaces.
ā¢ Position requires long-term ability for standing, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties.
ā¢ Ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including but not limited to operating the table lifter and get certified and operate on internal vehicles.
ā¢ Ability to lift 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
