Creative Strategist / Video Editor — UGC Factory
We're UGC Factory (https://www.ugcfactory.io) — we currently have 75 clients and represent over $40 million in monthly paid social spend, and we're hiring a Creative Strategist / Video Editor to help on high-level strategy behind hundreds of short-form vertical ads per month (primarily Meta, plus TikTok and Shorts).
We need a video nerd who thinks in systems, obsesses over the hook, and knows exactly how to ship variations that actually perform. You'll be contributing to high-level creative strategy and editing across our portfolio — working alongside our team of offshore video editors to make sure every ad ships at the highest quality.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to high-level creative strategy for short-form vertical video ads (primarily Meta).
- Work alongside our offshore editing team — reviewing work, sharing direction, and helping raise the bar.
- Plug into our AI workflows to help us shape the systems (briefs, hook frameworks, variation matrices, QC) and push volume without dropping quality — several hundred unique ads per month across the portfolio. We've already built a lot of internal AI tooling and you'll help us push it further as we shift toward partnering with top affiliate creators and 10x-ing their pipelines.
- Optimize relentlessly for the hook. Build out variation strategies that give our clients real testing surface area.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience producing top-performing UGC / short-form vertical ads for big DTC brands (agency experience strongly preferred, in-house at a major brand also great).
- Deep understanding of Meta short-form ad strategy: hooks, pacing, variation testing, what wins and why.
- You've worked inside a pipeline of 100–500+ unique ads per month. You know what breaks at scale and how to fix it.
- Systems-obsessed. You think in processes and documentation.
- Strong creative eye. You can edit at a high level and review/critique editors' work with precision.
- Genuinely fluent in AI tools and excited about how AI is reshaping creative production for DTC.
- You're a film nerd. You know what Letterboxd is. You actually care about good filmmaking.
