As a Social Content Creator, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our digital brand footprint and creating engaging content that resonates with our audience. This part-time contractor position offers the potential to join our team full-time as we continue to expand our Digital team. Key Responsibilities Content Creation: Conceptualize, script, shoot, edit, and post high-quality content across multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook, and Pinterest. Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of the curve by leveraging social platform trends, beauty and aesthetics trends, and maintaining a pulse on the social media landscape, including influencers, trending sounds, and emerging content formats. Camera Ready: Be comfortable being on camera to create content that benefits from a first-person narrative, showcasing your personality and expertise. Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant online community by engaging with followers, responding to comments, managing interactions, and cultivating meaningful relationships. Metrics & Optimization: Track and analyze the performance of social content, hit audience growth goals, and provide actionable insights to inform our social media strategy. Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need: To be located in New York City. A minimum of 2 years of content creation experience, preferably within the beauty, aesthetics, lifestyle, or fashion industries. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. A passion for pop culture and social media trends, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and emerging trends. The ability to script, shoot, and edit vertical video content, with experience using CapCut or similar editing software a plus.
