We’re expanding our work beyond education to directly serve the entertainment and creative industries — helping studios, agencies, and companies adapt to the rapidly evolving world of AI-driven production. To support that mission, we’re seeking a Creative AI Consultant to act as our in-house expert and ambassador to the professional creative world. The Role The Creative AI Consultant is both a teacher and a translator — helping creative professionals understand and apply AI technologies to their real-world workflows. You’ll lead workshops, keynote presentations, and private training sessions for studios, agencies, and major companies, showing how generative AI can enhance storytelling, production efficiency, and creative collaboration. You’ll also act as a direct technical and creative liaison , answering questions, advising on AI strategy, and supporting production teams as they explore new tools and methods. While the role is primarily remote, there will be opportunities to travel for in-person workshops, conferences, and client sessions — especially within the Los Angeles entertainment ecosystem. Responsibilities • Design and deliver creative AI workshops for studios, agencies, and enterprise clients (virtual and in-person). • Present at events and corporate training sessions , helping teams understand how to integrate AI into creative workflows. • Creates video content for the Curious Refuge curriculum as needed. • Host digital conversations and demos with leading artists in the industry. • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on tools, workflows, and best practices for AI in film, design, and content production. • Stay ahead of trends in generative AI, creating reports, demos, and thought leadership content for Curious Refuge’s community and partners. • Collaborate with internal teams to build case studies, curriculum, and consulting packages for enterprise clients. • Answer technical and strategic client inquiries related to generative AI, storytelling, and creative innovation. • Represent Curious Refuge as an industry thought leader at events, panels, and summits. • Travel occasionally (10–25%) for workshops, on-site sessions, or studio visits. Requirements • Deep understanding of generative AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Sora, Luma, ChatGPT, Veo, ElevenLabs, etc.) and their applications in creative workflows. • Background in film, animation, design, or media production — ideally with experience bridging creative and technical teams. • Excellent presentation and communication skills ; comfortable speaking to executive teams, creatives, and technical audiences alike. • Strong teaching or workshop facilitation experience (corporate training, masterclasses, or education a plus). • Ability to simplify complex ideas and help others implement them practically. • Comfortable working autonomously, managing client relationships, and representing the Curious Refuge brand. Nice-to-haves • Los Angeles–based or able to travel to LA regularly is a major plus.
