CPA for Small Business Bookkeeping Cleanup & Tax Filings (NY Corp)
Small NYC hospitality business seeking a reliable CPA/bookkeeper to finalize 2024, catch up 2025, and file all required taxes. My previous bookkeeper stopped in December 2024 due to a family emergency, leaving both business and personal filings incomplete. This is a small volume small business, not a large corporate account.
Scope:
Part 1 – 2024
•Review January–November 2024 books (mostly complete) for accuracy
• Reconcile December 2024 books for business and personal
• File 2024 Corp tax return (operated at a loss)
• File 2024 personal tax return (no income)
Part 2 – 2025
• Bring January–August 2025 bookkeeping up to date (mix of NYC brick-and-mortar and Shopify sales starting April 2025)
• Prepare and file 2025 Q1 + Q2 estimated tax payments for the business
Requirements:
• Proven experience with NY Corp tax filings and small business bookkeeping
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online
• Able to work from bank statements, POS reports, and Shopify data
