Job Summary:

As a Courier Driver, you will be the face of UPS, responsible for delivering packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Description:
As a Courier Driver, your primary responsibility will be delivering packages promptly to our customers. You will be representing UPS and must, therefore, uphold the company’s values and commitment to excellent customer service. You will be expected to operate the delivery van safely, following all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring the packages reach their destination without any damage.
Responsibilities:
– Responsible for pickup and delivery of packages within the assigned area.
– Loading and unloading packages from the delivery van.
– Confirming delivery details, obtaining necessary authorizations, and getting the recipients’ signatures upon delivery.
– Maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
– Regular inspection of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
– Must be at least 18 years of age.
– Ability to lift heavy packages.
– Excellent time management skills.
– Strong customer service skills.
– Good knowledge of local routes and shortcuts.
Educational Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Courier Driver or a similar role would be advantageous.
