Cost Accountant - Poppi
Overview
This role will help build out the cost accounting department to meet the needs of poppi's current growth trajectory, including the addition of new co-manufacturer & 3PL locations, increased production, and greater sales volumes
Responsibilities
⢠Conduct periodic reconciliations between internal ERP system and third-party reported inventory levels.
⢠Investigate inventory discrepancies (found through reconciliations or ad hoc review) and collaborate with other departments to align systematic inventory with actuals.
⢠Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
⢠Post physical inventory adjustments and journal entries within the ERP system.
⢠Support and participate in physical count audits as needed.
⢠Perform costing analysis and identify systematic costing errors.
⢠Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
⢠Generate required reporting or documentation for internal and external audits.
⢠Contribute to special projects as required.
Compensation and Benefits:
⢠The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,400 - $122,850.
⢠Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
⢠Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
⢠Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
⢠Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
⢠2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably with a high-growth CPG brand.
⢠Experience with inventory reconciliations.
⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software (NetSuite and/or SAP preferred).
⢠Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
⢠Ability to communicate clearly and professionally while presenting information and managing internal & external relationships.
⢠Prior experience working with co-manufacturing and 3PL partners is a plus.
⢠Familiarity with weighted-average costing is a plus.
