In this role, you'll work directly with senior client stakeholders to understand their business challenges and design transformative data and AI solutions. While technical fluency is essential, this is primarily a strategic and client-facing role—you'll guide technical teams and validate approaches, but your focus is on client leadership, solution design, and delivery management.What You’ll DoClient Leadership & StrategyServe as a trusted advisor to C-suite and VP-level stakeholdersLead discovery sessions to identify data and AI opportunitiesTranslate business objectives into technical roadmaps and solution architecturesPresent recommendations and solution demos to executive audiencesBuild strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand engagementsProduct Design & AdvisoryApply design thinking to create user-centric data productsDesign end-to-end solutions that balance value, feasibility, and riskDefine product roadmaps and phased delivery plans that show quick winsEnsure alignment with best practices in data governance, security, and ethical AITeam Leadership & Technical GuidanceLead cross-functional teams of data engineers, data scientists, and analystsProvide direction on data architecture, modeling, pipelines, and platform selectionGuide teams working with modern data stacks (Spark, SQL, Databricks, cloud platforms)Build occasional prototypes or POCs to validate approaches (helpful but not required)Conduct quality reviews to ensure deliverables meet client expectations
Requirements
What You’ll BringExperience7–10 years in data/AI consulting, product management, or data engineering3+ years in client-facing advisory rolesProven success managing senior stakeholder relationships and leading technical teamsBackground in consulting (MBB, Big 4, or boutique firms) preferredTechnical KnowledgeStrong understanding of data architecture, modeling, and modern data platformsWorking knowledge of SQL, Spark, and cloud ecosystems (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/GCP/Azure)Solid grasp of AI/ML concepts and implementation approachesAbility to evaluate technical approaches and guide engineering teamsAdvisory & Consulting SkillsExceptional communication and presentation skillsStrong facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder alignmentExperience with design thinking, agile delivery, and product management frameworksStrategic problem-solving abilities and comfort managing multiple engagementsPersonal QualitiesExecutive presence and credibility with senior leadersCollaborative, entrepreneurial mindsetComfort with ambiguity and fast-paced environmentsWhy Join Cortico-XLead high-impact engagements with Fortune 500 companies and innovative startupsShape data and AI strategies at the executive levelFully remote with flexible work arrangementsCompetitive compensation including base salary, performance bonuses, and strong benefitsSalary: Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including skill set, experience, and qualifications.
