Corporate Summer Intern - New York, NY

Join our team as a Corporate Public Relations Intern, supporting client programs and initiatives.

Your Role:

Key responsibilities are as follows:
• Assist in compiling monthly client reports showcasing organic and secured placements.
• Conduct research to support strategy development for current clients and new business pitches.
• Create and distribute mailers, press kits, and briefing kits.
• Draft media materials, including press releases, fact sheets, briefing sheets, and pitches.
• Identify key trends to keep teams informed of current news.
• Manage daily administrative activities for 1-3 accounts.
• Monitor media coverage of clients and competitors, drafting coverage recaps.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and program ideation.
• Collaborate with account team members to develop and deliver key client deliverables, learning the basics of the clients’ business.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:
• A basic understanding of social media platforms.
• A collaborative spirit, results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with public relations, marketing, or communications through coursework, internships, or personal experiences.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• A proactive attitude, able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• A passion for and understanding of public relations and the media landscape.
• Strong organizational skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

The pay rate is $18/hour USD. Compensation is based on factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skills, and location. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
