Corporate Summer Intern - New York, NY
Join our team as a Corporate Public Relations Intern, supporting client programs and initiatives.
Your Role:
Key responsibilities are as follows:
Assist in compiling monthly client reports showcasing organic and secured placements.
Conduct research to support strategy development for current clients and new business pitches.
Create and distribute mailers, press kits, and briefing kits.
Draft media materials, including press releases, fact sheets, briefing sheets, and pitches.
Identify key trends to keep teams informed of current news.
Manage daily administrative activities for 1-3 accounts.
Monitor media coverage of clients and competitors, drafting coverage recaps.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and program ideation.
Collaborate with account team members to develop and deliver key client deliverables, learning the basics of the clients business.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
A basic understanding of social media platforms.
A collaborative spirit, results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with public relations, marketing, or communications through coursework, internships, or personal experiences.
Proficiency in MS Office.
A proactive attitude, able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
A passion for and understanding of public relations and the media landscape.
Strong organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
The pay rate is $18/hour USD. Compensation is based on factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skills, and location. Additional rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
