About the RoleWe’re seeking a Corporate Paralegal with strong administrative and compliance experience to support a wide range of legal functions, including corporate filings, regulatory compliance, state and federal licensing, contract administration, and internal compliance processes. The ideal candidate will be skilled at multitasking and maintaining a sharp attention to detail, and has experience with state-level business filings, license renewals, and entity management. The role will report to Vetcove’s Head of Legal and will not require any travel.What You’ll DoPrepare and manage business registrations and ongoing state filings across multiple jurisdictionsMaintain and track business licenses, registrations, and renewal schedules required for operating in the animal health and pharmaceutical spaceSupport the company’s compliance with relevant regulations, including healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations, industry certifications and permitting requirements, and internal policy updatesAssist in maintaining legal entity records and corporate governance documentation (e.g., bylaws, board minutes, resolutions)Draft, review, and organize contracts and legal agreements, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and licensing agreementsAssist with due diligence and audits related to licensing, compliance, and corporate governanceCoordinate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, Product) to collect information for filings and ensure alignment on compliance initiativesServe as a point of contact with state agencies, licensing boards, and registered agentsMaintain compliance tracking tools and systems (e.g., legal entity management software, calendar systems for renewals)You Should HaveAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree3+ years of relevant experience as a corporate paralegal or legal operations specialist, preferably in a software and/or healthcare environmentStrong understanding of corporate compliance, business licensing, and multi-state filingsAdministrative and organizational skills, with demonstrated experience managing deadlines and regulatory calendarsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefits (Full Time Roles)100% remote within the USAMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceAutomatic 401k contributionEmployee referral programAt home office set upBi-annual company retreatsOpen vacation policyEquityMonthly team eventsThe typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is: $65,000/year - $95,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. For Colorado, the salary range is: $70,000 - $90,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. This salary range is a good faith estimate of what Vetcove may pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, and experience. The range reflects the base hourly rate or annual compensation (as applicable), and does not include bonus, equity or other incentives.In addition to base compensation, Vetcove offers a comprehensive benefitspackage.
