Candidates MUST be based in the US to be considered. Job Summary:Real is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. This role will be integral in managing legal support activities related to joint ventures, compliance, title services, and administrative functions. The Paralegal will work in a fast-paced, remote environment, supporting legal team members with critical tasks and ensuring the proper handling of highly sensitive and confidential materials. If you're self-motivated, proactive, and have a strong attention to detail, we'd love for you to join our team.Duties/Responsibilities:Joint Venture Support: Assist in the preparation of materials for the Company’s joint ventures, including agreements, notices, and resolutions.License Applications: Support the preparation and submission of license applications for title services, and manage the approval process from start to finish.Compliance Management: Help manage and implement compliance matters within the company’s title services activities.Document Drafting & Correspondence: Draft business letters, memorandums, presentations, and other documents, ensuring clarity and accuracy.Presentation & Spreadsheet Creation: Create, edit, and format presentations and spreadsheets to support internal and external communications.Document Management: Maintain and organize large volumes of documents (electronic and paper), including indexing, tracking, and updating legal files.Entity Formation & Documentation: Assist in forming new entities, obtaining EINs, good standing certificates, and other relevant legal documentation.Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, external contacts, and stakeholders to gather and share necessary information to support legal initiatives.Project Management: Manage various legal projects and responsibilities, as assigned, demonstrating a proactive approach and strong organizational skills.Required Skills/Abilities: Previous experience working in a law firm or corporate in-house environment, specifically in securities, corporate law, and joint ventures.Proven experience in subsidiary governance and corporate structure management.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to draft clear, concise, and professional documents.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tasks and prioritize effectively.High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Expertise in PowerPoint is a significant plus.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and digital tools as required by the role.Certification as a notary public is a plus but not required.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role.2+ years of relevant experience in a legal or corporate environment, specifically supporting joint ventures, compliance, and corporate governance matters.Paralegal certification is a plus but not required.Must Have:Ability to truly encompass our Company Core ValuesWork Hard, Be KindTech x Humanity“We” are bigger than “me”Physical Requirements: Sit for long periods of timeREAL is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace employer.
