Legal Expert ā Transactional / Corporate (Remote, Hourly)
Type:
Contract
Compensation:
$85ā$120/hour
Location:
Remote
Commitment:
20ā40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
ā¢ Design realistic deal scenarios from transactional practice such as M&A due diligence, SPAs/APAs, and securities filings.
ā¢ Write "golden" reference responses at attorney-level quality.
ā¢ Grade AI-generated responses using structured rubrics.
ā¢ Provide written feedback to improve model behavior.
ā¢ Participate in onboarding office hours and specialty calibration sessions.
Qualifications
Must-Have
ā¢ 1ā4 years of professional experience in transactional or corporate law.
ā¢ J.D. (U.S./Canada) or LL.B./LL.M. (U.K.) from an accredited law school.
ā¢ Licensed to practice law in the U.S., Canada, or U.K. (active or inactive).
ā¢ Strong experience in contract review, due diligence, corporate governance, NDA drafting, or securities filings.
ā¢ Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail.
Preferred
ā¢ Experience with disclosure schedules or closing checklists.
ā¢ Exposure to private equity, venture capital, or fund formation.
ā¢ Experience with SEC reporting or securities offerings.
ā¢ Familiarity with virtual data rooms like Intralinks or Datasite.
