About this roleWe are looking for a skilled corporate IT specialist to support Writer’s rapid growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Writer’s IT infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, security, and reliability. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. ‍♀️ Your responsibilities:Administer and maintain IT infrastructure; including SaaS services, workstations, mobile devices, and employee onboarding/offboardingImplement, configure, and troubleshoot corporate systems management tools to streamline employee onboarding, offboarding, and access management processesManage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Google Workspace, Google Cloud, HRIS and workforce management systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and security standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT-related projects and initiatives, providing technical expertise and guidance as neededConduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical company data and ensure business continuityStay up-to-date with trends and advancements in IT technology and security, recommending and implementing best practices to enhance our company's IT infrastructureProvide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving IT-related issues in a timely and efficient mannerDocument IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for future reference30% of your responsibilities will also include:Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, and managing expensesWorking hand-in-hand with C- Suite Executive Assistants to coordinate workplace meetings and eventsBadge management and overseeing the issuance, tracking, and retrieval of identification badges to ensure secure and authorized access to the office premisesFacilitating office operations in coordination with building management requirements⭐️ Is this you?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of professional experience as a Corporate IT Manager, Lead, Specialist, or similar roleExperience working with Google Workspace and workforce management systemsStrong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and IT best practicesProficiency in system administration tasks on MacOS, Linux, and Windows operating systemsExcellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issuesExperience scaling IT infrastructure to support a fast-growing company, ideally from 100 to 1000 employeesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organizationExperience with Rippling's suite of products and/or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus*Please note that this role is hybrid for our London office and applicants should be willing to be in office 3 or more days a week
