POSITION SUMMARY

As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving our company's strategic growth through a blend of financial planning and evaluating M&A activities.

You will participate in long-range financial planning and engage in scenario planning to support informed decision-making. You will also establish evaluation frameworks for M&A target identification, perform build/buy/partner analyses, and conduct due diligence on potential M&A targets.

This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy strategic thinking, and have a strong background in financial planning and M&A.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Planning Responsibilities
? Understand the company mission, vision, values, and strategy
? Participate in long-range strategic planning
? Participate in quarterly detailed budgeting, with an emphasis on revenue and margins
? Perform monthly revenue variance analysis
? Gather benchmark data to inform strategies for accelerating revenue growth and sales efficiency

Scenario Analysis
? Perform sensitivity analysis and stress-test the forecast
? Monitor macro and micro economic data to identify opportunities and threats
? Manage a portfolio of risks and opportunities
? Build scenarios to identify a range of possible outcomes

M&A Responsibilities
? Conduct detailed financial analysis to support investment decisions
? Collaborate with product teams to conduct build/buy/partner analyses, and develop strategic investment themes and business cases
? Establish evaluation frameworks for identifying acquisition targets
? Perform due diligence on potential M&A targets
? Develop models to assess the impact of significant investments on the company's financial performance
? Monitor and report on the performance of significant investments and M&A post-integration

Required
? 3-5 years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A, or similar experience
? Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
? Strong foundational understanding of financial statements
? Comfortably interacts with senior executives
? Ability to formulate and articulate viewpoints in a clear and succinct manner

? Experience working in the software industry
? Experience using Workday Adaptive Planning or other financial planning tool
