You can find your productive zone and work from there.About the role:In this role, you will work closely with Sardine’s Sales, Product, Partnerships, Compliance, Procurement, and Engineering teams while owning the drafting, administration and negotiation of commercial contracts and building infrastructure to support our commercial customers at scale. You will also support various special projects that arise at our fast-paced, mission-focused company.What you'll be doing: Collaborate closely with globally-distributed Sales, Account Management, and Procurement organizations to engage with current and future customers, review proposed contractual edits, and help negotiate and close important dealsDraft and negotiate various agreements (NDAs, SaaS, vendor contracts, partnerships, etc.)Provide product counseling and risk assessments for the development of new features and product offerings, as well as marketing initiatives and user-facing materialsSupport rollout and improvement of contract lifecycle management and associated platforms, including through template, workflow, playbook, and training material developmentMonitor and respond to day-to-day legal inquiries from cross-functional teams and help with ad hoc legal projectsProvide practical advice on regulatory, data privacy, and cybersecurity matters, including with respect to GDPR, GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, and other state privacy laws and other regulations.What you'll need: JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state bar and/or European country3-5 years of relevant experience at a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal departmentExperience supporting a sales organizationAbility to take ownership of your work and manage projects independentlyComfort and skill in navigating complexity and ambiguity, and working on a leanly staffed teamAbility to work autonomously and under pressure, and meet tight deadlinesBenefits we offer:Generous compensation in cash and equityEarly exercise for all options, including pre-vestedWork from anywhere: Remote-first CultureFlexible paid time off and Year-end breakHealth insurance, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents - US and Canada specific4% matching in 401k / RRSP - US and Canada specificMacBook Pro delivered to your doorOne-time stipend to set up a home office — desk, chair, screen, etc.Monthly meal stipendMonthly social meet-up stipendAnnual health and wellness stipendAnnual Learning stipendJoin a fast-growing company with world-class professionals from around the world.
