They are seeking a highly motivated attorney to join their small legal team, where the role involves assisting in software licensing transactions, privacy and security, and general corporate areas. Responsibilities Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including international cloud software agreements, master services agreements, sales licensing agreements, amendments, NDAs, Data Processing Agreements and vendor agreements Ensure compliance with security, export control, sanctions and privacy regulations Assist with employee-related/HR matters Assist with pre-litigation claims and litigation matters related to contracts Assist with corporate governance matters for subsidiaries Draft and maintain internal security, export control, sanctions, ESG and privacy policies Assist in M&A acquisitions and post-acquisition integrations Assist with real estate transactions Skills Bachelor's degree, J.D. from an accredited law school and current license to practice law in Massachusetts 1-3 years of corporate legal experience in a law firm or in house setting Intellectual property coursework or experience a plus Benefits Hybrid or fully remote work model Medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance 401(k) with company match Casual and fun work environment 3 weeks of vacation 8 company holidays, plus 2 floating holidays Company Overview Anaqua provides intellectual asset management software solutions and services to corporations and law firms of all sizes.
