Join Equitable’s summer internship to support Corporate Communications and Talent Acquisition, enhancing employer branding and early career talent outreach. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Partner with Corporate Communications, recruiters, and hiring managers to support outreach to prospective candidates via social media platforms including Handshake and LinkedIn • Monitor and report social media engagement on strategic and targeted platforms to build the company’s brand and connect with stakeholders • Conduct research and draft reports and presentations on internal and industry-wide topics to support recruiting communications strategies • Function as both a participant and reporter on the summer intern program to create collateral for future recruiting cycles • Schedule posts, monitor social platforms for comments and mentions, engage with followers, and implement strategies to increase follower growth and engagement • Assist in planning and communication of events for the summer internship program About You The company is looking for: • Rising college junior or senior preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong editing, grammar, and proofreading skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Expert organizational skills and ability to follow through with tasks • Strong familiarity with social media platforms for professional networking • Ability to work the full duration of the nine-week program • Competencies including problem-solving, effective listening, managing multiple priorities, cross-functional collaboration, and decision making with critical thinking Compensation & Benefits • Hourly rate: $22/hour • Hybrid work environment (2-3 days in the office) • Location: New York, NY (Equitable’s Corporate headquarters) Training & Development Equitable invests in its people by offering growth opportunities, internal mobility, and a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
