They are hiring a Corporate Actions Associate who will be responsible for processing corporate actions, ensuring accurate allocations and reconciliations, and providing excellent client service in a dynamic financial environment.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for processing voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, interpreting terms, allocation of event to holders and reconciliationPerform various Reorg events ensuring instructions are received and processed timely and accurately, as well as mitigate risk and exposure to the firmMonitor deadlines and critical cut-offs to ensure instructions are processed accordinglyLearn and understand stock record, relating to various retail and institutional accountsProcess allocations ensuring reorg events are paid timely and reconciled for accuracyProvide outstanding client service, Escalate client issues and complaints on operational matters to higher-level management when vitalUnderstanding and recognizing various voluntary and mandatory reorg events and communicating with custodians, depositories, counterparties, and clients as neededSkills1+ years of experience in voluntary corporate actions experience (recent college graduate with internship experience will also be considered)Ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environmentBachelor's degree or equivalentThis position requires 2x a week in the officeExperience with BPS/DTC/Euroclear/Clear stream is a plusBenefitsBonus EligibleComprehensive benefit offeringsCompany OverviewBroadridge is a provider of investor communications and technology solutions for broker dealers, banks, mutual funds and corporate issuers.
