Corporate Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist β Long-Term Care
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Overview
We are hiring a Corporate Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist with experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare revenue cycle management. This role is responsible for managing outstanding accounts, insurance billing, and claims resolution, while helping drive improvements across the A/R process.

Key Responsibilities
β’ Manage accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
β’ Handle insurance billing and claims processing (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
β’ Research and resolve denied, rejected, or unpaid claims
β’ Track and manage insurance authorizations to ensure timely reimbursement
β’ Communicate with insurance companies, facility staff, and internal teams to resolve issues
β’ Identify trends in denials and implement process improvements
β’ Drive accountability and performance across the A/R and revenue cycle process
β’ Maintain accurate documentation, notes, and reporting in billing systems
β’ Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare billing regulations
Qualifications
β’ 2+ years of accounts receivable, medical billing, or revenue cycle experience
β’ Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare billing strongly preferred
β’ Strong knowledge of insurance claims, denials management, and collections
β’ Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
β’ Ability to manage A/R aging reports and reduce outstanding balances
β’ Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and billing software systems
β’ Strong communication and follow-up skills
Preferred
β’ Experience in a multi-facility or corporate healthcare environment
β’ Proven success improving A/R processes or workflows
