Copywriter/Content Writer

We are seeking a talented, experienced and motivated Copywriter/Content Writer to join our client's team remotely. In this role, your primary responsibility will be ghostwriting unique and valuable quotes and content, as requested by publications - across their range of clients. Journalists and websites request quotes and facts, and in this role you will - in the client's tone of voice - provide non-AI generated, value content that is so good that clients get featured in leading publications.You are not required to do any strategy work or topic research. Journalists ask specific questions that will form the basis of your reply.Additionally, you will contribute to writing engaging articles for the clients and internal projects. This position requires someone who is creative, able to think on their feet, excels at research, and can work independently.Note, any Digital PR or experience understanding journalists is very key, as is a writer with experience or interest in research and attention to detail. It might be 8 weeks before you will hear back from a journalist, patience, quality and unique writing and drive are key skills for this role.Salary: $950pm (SA) - 40kphp / month (PH)Type of Work: Full-time remote Work Schedule: Australian hoursKey Responsibilities:Call-out Submissions Management (Primary Role):Monitor and identify relevant call-out opportunities from journalists and websites requesting quotes, information, and copy.Conduct thorough research to gather accurate information for effective responses.Craft well-written, tailored responses to maximize client exposure and engagement.Track the success of submissions and provide clients with regular updates and insights.RequirementsIn depth background in a remote set-up of work similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor (deep understanding on the pros cons involved in this industry).Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, or similar role.Any Digital PR or journalist writing experienceExceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Strong research abilities and attention to detail.Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to call-out opportunities.Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Patience and determinationStrong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Excellent communication skills.Reliable high-speed internet connection (with power backup).Originally posted on Himalayas
