Copywriter, Mainline Campaigns
About the position Crocs, Inc. is seeking a Copywriter, Mainline Campaigns. This role will be responsible for supporting our go-to-market campaigns large and small. From new product launches to seasonal stories, you'll get to flex your creative expertise in an exciting and evolving environment! This work is conceptual in nature and demands a writer to understand nuances between various products, consumers, brands, and cultural trends at a highly developed level. Copy needs span across all our marketing channels: Social, Paid, Print, Onsite, Video, and more. Campaign messaging will need to be considered for global regions in addition to North America. The Copywriter will work with designers and art directors on the creative team, and will also interact with global marketing, product, e-commerce, operations teams, marketing leadership, and at times external partners or agencies. This role is encouraged to build outstanding and compelling content to continue to elevate the Crocs brand across all channels. Responsibilities • Write all copy required for campaigns for the Crocs brand, including retail, wholesale, digital, social media, product descriptions and more. • Maintain consistency of the Crocs brand voice on all channels. • Collaborate with designers, social media, marketing, and creative teams on activation concepts and execution. • Proofread and copy-edit all copy work related to your projects. • Support creative teams on additional duties, such as brainstorming, and legal searches. • Assist the mainline and brand copywriters with miscellaneous projects as needed. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or any relevant Creative field. • 3-5 years of proven experience in direct-to-consumer product marketing copywriting; background in creative/advertising; fashion or footwear experience preferred; global experience a plus. • Strong command of English language, grammar, and advertising writing styles. • Strong understanding of social media trends and colloquialisms. • Comfortable writing short video / audio scripts and thinking conceptually about video ideas. • Experience in proofreading, copyediting a variety of business and marketing materials. • Ability to multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to quickly switch gears to keep up with feedback and changes. • Outstanding written, communication, and presentation skills. • Portfolio demonstrates extraordinary creativity and thoughtful writing. • Standout colleague with demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple cross-functional groups. • Willing communicator and collaborator. • Maintain a professional and enthusiastic approach with the work and the team. • Willing to accept and provide necessary critique and feedback. • Flexible availability during off-hours to support global teams on occasion.
