Our Copywriter Team Lead will play a critical role in crafting compelling content and guiding our talented copywriting team to deliver outstanding results for our clients. About the Role As our Copy Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all copy-related operations from process improvement to team leadership. This role is ideal for someone based in LATAM who has strong experience in copywriting, experience managing remote creative teams and a good grasp of leveraging AI tools such as ChatGPT to enhance productivity. Roles and Responsibilities: Own and optimize the entire copy process across client accounts Create, improve, and standardize SOPs for content production Lead and manage a team of copywriters, editors, and freelancers Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product listings, brand pages, and marketing copy Introduce and integrate AI tools to boost team efficiency and consistency Collaborate with account managers, graphic designers, and leadership on copy needs. Provide feedback, training, and quality checks for your team Skills That Will Enable You to Thrive: 5+ years of experience in copywriting or content management 3+ years of experience leading or managing a creative team Strong understanding of e-commerce content (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Shopify product pages) Excellent written English with a sharp eye for detail and clarity Confident using AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai) Ability to build and improve processes across teams Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Good to Have: Experience in a startup environment, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting Experience building or scaling creative processes from scratch Familiarity with B2B content strategy or audience targeting Previous experience in the eCommerce industry Exposure to global teams or remote-first companies Why It’s Awesome to Join SellCord: Be part of a cutting-edge team building transformative tools for Walmart sellers.
