Our ideal COO / Integrator becomes the operational backbone of Shawn Feurer Consulting. This role brings clarity where things feel ambiguous, momentum where progress stalls, and structure that allows the founders’ vision to scale beyond their constant presence. You will be a trusted partner to the founders and a stabilizing force for the team as the company grows toward its long-term vision. RESPONSIBILITIES This role will evolve over time, including the opportunity to build additional support as the business grows. In the near term, it is a highly hands-on role, with responsibility for both building and personally executing the work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Act as the operational partner to the founders, ensuring ideas turn into clear plans, priorities, and follow-through. • Own execution across the business, personally driving initiatives forward while keeping work aligned to strategic priorities. • Create structure, systems, and operating rhythms that reduce bottlenecks and reliance on the founders for day-to-day progress. • Bring clarity when decisions feel ambiguous, helping prioritize what matters most. • Hold the team accountable to commitments, surfacing issues early and driving them to resolution. • Build and scale the Consultants Division so it operates consistently and independently of founder availability. • Lead and optimize marketing execution, systems, and performance metrics. • Own financial performance, including P&L responsibility and operational insight. • Ensure momentum and growth continue even when attention shifts elsewhere. • Use observation, data, and feedback to evaluate performance, ROI, and opportunities for improvement. • Build scalable processes that support growth across consulting, coaching, and digital offerings. • Serve as a trusted point of contact and problem-solver across the organization. SUCCESS MILESTONES 1 Month: Oriented to the business, culture, and priorities; trusted working relationships established. 3 Months: Operating as an extension of the founders, with clear ownership of priorities, decisions, and follow-through; establishing quarterly Rocks, defining focus areas, and building a personal execution plan. 6 Months: Core systems and operating rhythms in place; Consultants Division running with consistency and accountability. 9 Months: Operations and performance optimized across offerings; clear visibility into what is working and why. 12 Months: Scalable operating foundation in place; business positioned for sustained growth with reduced founder dependency. • * This is a full-time, remote role that requires quarterly travel and reasonable schedule alignment across U.S. time zones. ** QUALIFICATIONS Required • 3+ years in a senior leadership role with direct P&L ownership • Experience operating and scaling within a small, founder-led business where leaders are highly hands-on and personally execute key work • Strong digital marketing background • Professional services experience • General technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, etc.) Preferred • Experience acting as a true #2 to a founder or CEO • Built or launched a new function, division, or offering • Experience leading cross-functional teams while building or improving systems and processes • Experience operating within the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS®) or a similar operating system • Experience in consulting or coaching environments, including working with consultants or contractors • Familiarity with tools such as Kajabi, QuickBooks, or similar platforms THE COMPANY – Shawn Feurer Consulting Shawn Feurer Consulting is a mission-driven, founder-led firm helping entrepreneurs, leaders, and high-performing individuals create meaningful, sustainable growth in their businesses and lives.
