Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & Creative Strategy - Contract to Hire

We are a fast-growing e-commerce brand operating at the intersection of product, content, and performance marketing. With hundreds of millions of organic views and aggressive paid media expansion, we’re looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist who can think like a strategist, write like a copywriter, and execute like an operator.

This is not a traditional “button color tester” role.

This is a revenue-driving position responsible for improving conversion across landing pages, PDPs, funnels, upsells, and creative messaging.

If you understand psychology, consumer behavior, storytelling, and data — and you can translate that into higher CVR — we want to meet you.



What You’ll Do

Conversion Optimization

• Audit and optimize landing pages, product pages, funnels, and checkout flows.

• Identify friction points across the user journey and propose strategic solutions.

• Develop and execute A/B testing roadmaps.

• Improve CVR, AOV, and overall revenue per visitor.

• Analyze heatmaps, session recordings, and on-site behavior data.

Creative Strategy

• Develop new messaging angles based on customer psychology and objections.

• Identify high-impact hooks, value propositions, and offer positioning.

• Work with the media buying and content teams to align ad creative with landing page messaging.

• Craft new offers, bundles, guarantees, and urgency frameworks to increase conversion.

Copywriting

• Write high-converting landing pages, PDP copy, hero sections, headlines, CTAs, and email flows.

• Translate product features into emotionally compelling benefits.

• Improve clarity, specificity, and persuasive strength across the website.

• Continuously refine messaging based on performance data.



What We’re Looking For

• Deep understanding of direct response marketing and buyer psychology.

• Strong ability to combine data + creativity.

• Someone who understands that messaging is often the biggest lever in conversion.

• A structured thinker who builds testing frameworks — not random experiments.

• Obsessive about incremental improvements that compound over time.



Required Experience

• Proven experience improving conversion rates for an e-commerce brand.

• Experience running structured A/B tests and interpreting statistical results.

• Strong copywriting ability (direct response or performance marketing background preferred).

• Familiarity with Shopify or similar platforms.

• Experience with tools like heatmaps, analytics dashboards, and testing software.



Bonus Points

• Experience working closely with paid media teams.

• Understanding of UGC and performance creative alignment.

• Experience optimizing subscription funnels or upsell flows.

• Background in offer creation and value stacking.
