Controller in Agriculture
Position - Controller The controller will oversee/complete all accounting and reporting activities for Upland Farm Management. Responsibilities include handling financial reporting tasks, completing daily tasks such as invoicing, accounts payable, assisting in payroll. Will also help with budget planning and financial strategizing with management. Comparison of acres, financial forecasting, and other assessments to improve the financial performance of farm
· Verifying all financial reports and ensuring that all transactions are accurate o Balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements
· Preparing and reviewing annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, presenting results with the management
· Implementing all accounting policies and procedures.
· Accurate and timely tax filings
· Monitor operation costs, profit, losses, and manage business risks.
· Assisting with crop insurance
Experience
· Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance
· CPA License
· Experience with Famous Software preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
