They are seeking a Contributions Coordinator Level 1 responsible for the receipt, entry, and balancing of employer remittances, as well as communicating any variances or discrepancies to employers.ResponsibilitiesOpening all mail relating to employer and employee contributions, entering contribution forms in the computer, balance to bank deposits and monthly deposit logsUpdating bond information, creating, and mailing discrepancy notices, creating, and mailing liquidated damages letters and reminder notices, tracking discrepancy and liquidated damages lettersPrepare contribution reception report, delinquency report, liquidated damages and discrepancy reports for trustee meetings and legal counselMaking copies as required, filing forms, and reviewing monthly PDF filesCreating and maintaining fund-specific procedural manuals, contacting the employers and the union hall for missing employee information, communicating with members on various contribution issuesSetting up and maintaining reciprocity for members working outside their home locals, setting up and maintaining vacation accounts as well as vacation check runsRespond to common inquiries or complaints from employers and financial institutions through written and oral communicationRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this jobSkillsExcellent Customer Service Skills Are a MustTen Keypad speed is a mustMust have good communication skillsMust have strong knowledge in accounts receivableMust be able to calculate figures and amounts using basic math skillsKnowledge of decimals, fractions and percentages are requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office ProductsExperience with Word, Excel and Outlook is essentialMust be able to look at a problem logically and figure out the source of the problem using mathematical balancing skills and recollection of repetitive problem sourcesMust be able to multi-taskMust be detailed orientedRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this jobPost High School education or prior related work experience preferredAccounts receivable experience is a plusBenefits12 paid holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)15 days of PTO provided in the next calendar year!3 days paid bereavementUp to 20 days paid jury leaveMedical, dental, and vision insurance, with option for dependent coverageCompany-paid basic life, short-term disability, long-term disability, and AD&D insurance401k with employer matchTuition reimbursement programCareer development opportunitiesReferral bonus for all successful full-time referralsAnnual opportunities for increasesCompany OverviewBeneSys is a team of dedicated Taft-Hartley Trust Fund Specialists.
