Contract Writer - A Book About Church History and How It Connects to Church Today

Remote Full-time
Location: Remote

Position Overview

Many believers have little connection to the history of the Church and, as a result, struggle to understand how the past shapes their faith today. We are seeking a contract writer to develop a theologically grounded book that explores church history, why it matters, and how it informs the way we understand the Church, theology, and Christian life in the present. This project may take a historical, theological, or more practical approach—but should clearly connect the story of the Church to today.

Scope of Work
• Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (approximately 45,000–75,000 words)
• Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision
• Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment

Commitment

Contract, per-project basis.

Compensation

Compensation is determined based on project scope and complexity.

Additional Information

Contractors are engaged based on the needs of specific projects and are not guaranteed ongoing or full-time work. Participation in meetings, workshops, or collaborative sessions may be requested depending on the project timeline.

Why Publish with The Daily Grace Co.?

We value thoughtful, faithful writers and partner closely from concept development through launch. Our goal is not simply to publish books—but to serve readers with resources that meet real needs and help them treasure Christ.
