contract Sales Representative — Business Development
Job Summary Flex Finance is seeking results-driven and proactive contract sales representatives to join our business development team. In this role, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle of our B2B SaaS product, from engaging warm leads to closing deals and ensuring successful client onboarding. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience interacting with and selling to customers in any context, a passion for technology, and the drive to build strong client relationships. Your primary goal will be to convert provided leads into active, long-term customers, contributing directly to FlexFinance's growth in the Nigerian market. Key Responsibilities Guide prospective clients through the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract signing and activation. Achieve a monthly target of signing up, onboarding, and activating a minimum of five new businesses. Manage and nurture a pipeline of warm leads provided by the company. Conduct product demonstrations (online) to showcase the value of FlexFinance. Perform a targeted number of daily/weekly calls, emails, and virtual meetings to engage leads. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Ensure a smooth and comprehensive onboarding process for new clients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system. Requirements Qualifications & Eligibility Experience & Education 0–2 years of experience in any customer-facing or sales role (retail, FMCG, insurance, telecoms, banking, etc.). B2B or SaaS experience is a plus, but not required. Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor's degree with a second-class lower (2.2) or above. Age range: 23–28 years. Core Competencies Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A keen interest in technology and the fintech industry. Must reside in Nigeria (Lagos or Oyo preferred) with reliable internet connectivity (minimum 10 Mbps download speed). Must have a dedicated, quiet workspace for remote work. Proficiency with remote communication tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.). Commercially Minded: Has a natural instinct for identifying value, handling objections, and closing outcomes — regardless of the industry they come from. Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using modern communication technologies, CRM systems, and remote collaboration tools. Self-Disciplined: Able to work independently in a remote environment without constant supervision. Goal-Oriented: Driven by targets and motivated by a performance-based compensation structure. Excellent Communicator: Fluent in English with strong written and verbal skills. Fluency in local languages is a plus. Reliable Internet Access: Must have stable, high-speed internet connectivity (minimum 10 Mbps download speed, tested before onboarding) for video calls, CRM access, and daily communication.
