Job Overview Contract Manager & IP (Contract to Perm Position) We’re partnering with a fast‑growing life sciences company seeking a Senior Legal Assistant or Paralegal to manage contracts and support IP operations. This highly cross‑functional role works closely with Legal, R&D, Commercial, Finance, and external counsel. Candidates should have significant experience in contracts management and/or IP paralegal work within life sciences, biotech, or pharma. Experience with patent prosecution support, assignments, POAs, and annuity/maintenance tracking is strongly preferred. Key responsibilities include managing a wide range of agreements (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, consulting, vendor, collaboration, research contracts), overseeing CLM systems, maintaining patent and trademark documentation, tracking correspondence from outside counsel, ensuring accuracy of filings, and supporting patent annuity maintenance. The role also manages legal processes, training, KPIs, and serves as the point of contact for contract systems and legal operations. Success requires exceptional communication, organization, time management, and attention to detail, along with the ability to handle high volumes of documents and sensitive information.
