Continuous Improvement Consultant Marlborough, MA $137/HR The Continuous Improvement Consultant will drive operational excellence within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to implement sustainable process improvements directly on the shop floor. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, can lead complex projects, and drives measurable improvements across operational processes. Continuous Improvement Consultant Responsibilities: Lead and manage specific project streams within the PDL program, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals Apply Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, analyze processes, and implement data-driven improvements across manufacturing operations Collaborate directly with shop floor teams to implement process improvements, provide training, and ensure adoption of new tools, systems, and workflows. This is a hands-on role, requiring “roll-up-your-sleeves” engagement Develop and execute effective change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working across all levels of the organization Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to diverse stakeholders, from shop floor associates to senior leadership, fostering collaboration and alignment Leverage data and analytics to measure performance, track improvements, and quantify the impact of continuous improvement initiatives Continuous Improvement Consultant Qualifications: Proven experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; certification preferred Demonstrated experience leading complex projects or programs, ideally within manufacturing or operational environments Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations Hands-on, action-oriented approach with the ability to directly implement changes Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making Apply tot his job
