Content Strategist (Copywriting Focus) - Join Our Agency (Long-Term, High Ownership) - Contract to Hire
We’re looking for a high-level Content Strategist with a strong copywriting focus to join our growing agency.
This is not a design or editing role.
You will be the brain behind the content, deciding what gets posted, why, and how it performs.
We work with:
• wellness & lifestyle brands
• personal brands
• D2C supplement companies
Currently managing 5–6 active clients on INSTAGRAM monthly, and growing.
Your Role
You will be responsible for:
• Developing monthly and weekly content strategies for each brand for Instagram
• Writing all content copy (reels, captions, hooks, carousels, stories, etc.)
• Deciding what content gets posted and when
• Guiding the design + video team with clear direction
• Reviewing and approving final content before posting
• Leading account optimization (bio, highlights, story strategy, positioning)
• Tracking performance and adjusting strategy based on results
• Creating monthly reports + insights per account
This is a hands-on, ownership role.
You are not just executing, you are leading content direction.
KPIs
Your success will be measured by:
• Consistently hitting deadlines
• Delivering high-quality, strategic copy
• Growth metrics across accounts (reach, views, followers, engagement)
• Clear reporting and strategy improvements over time
• Team alignment and smooth execution
What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience in content strategy for INSTAGRAM + copywriting (required)
• Proven ability to grow social media accounts on IG
• Deep understanding of short-form content trends
• Ability to think strategically, not just write
• Comfortable leading and directing a creative team
• Highly organized and reliable with deadlines
• Fluent in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) for research and ideation
• Able to create clear strategy docs / presentations
Working Style
• Fully remote
• Daily quick check-in calls on Slack
• Small, fast-moving team (4–5 people)
• High ownership and autonomy expected

• Can dedicate themselves fully to this role
• Is not committed to multiple agencies
• Wants to grow with a long-term team
