Now we need someone who can elevate quality, sharpen focus, and ensure our content drives the business forward.If you’re a journalist-turned-content-creator, a multimedia storyteller, or an editorial producer who loves autonomy and velocity, this role will feel like home.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive Content as a Growth ChannelBuild and execute a content strategy that supports pipeline and campaign goals in partnership with the broader marketing teamTurn customer insights, product stories, and industry trends into content that attracts, educates, and accelerates dealsPartner with Growth to expand our organic reach (SEO/GEO) and capture demandUse performance data to refine what we make and how we distribute itSet the Creative StandardOwn Opus’ content voice, narrative, and creative qualityDeepen the standard for each channel and audience (Executives, Training Directors, Ops Leaders, etc)Raise the bar on storytelling, production value, and editorial clarityRun the Content Engine & Lead Creative ContractorsOwn the content calendar and prioritize what gets madeLead and build a team of creative contractors (video, design, writing, audio)Build scalable workflows and AI-assisted systems for faster, smarter productionLead or create core content yourself (founder thought leadership, narrative posts, key video/podcast moments) when your judgment elevates the workSkills & ExperienceMust Have:7–10 years in journalism, editorial, multimedia production, or creative content rolesPortfolio that shows narrative strength, editorial judgment, and multimedia rangeExperience creating or overseeing social-first creative, video clips, and other short-form formatsStrong familiarity with AI as a production accelerator (not a crutch)Clear ability to lead contractors and maintain quality standardsProven skill turning raw interviews, data, workshops, or research into compelling contentComfortable working in fast-moving, lean teams with high autonomyNice to Have:B2B or SaaS content experienceSEO/GEO content optimizationGhostwriting for executives or foundersBackground in operations, workforce development, hospitality, or service industriesWhat Success Looks LikeFirst 90 Days:Own the content calendar and establish trust through crisp directionImprove velocity or quality with 2–3 low-lift operational winsProduce 1–3 “signature” pieces that set the new standardWithin First Year:Pipeline impact: measurable lift in inbound channels, notably organic and social channelsAudience reach expansion: growth of key segmentsOperational excellence: predictable output, consistent quality, scalable workflowsStrategic partnership: trusted advisor on GTM priorities, messaging, and storytellingWhy Join Opus TrainingYou’ll build on a modern B2B content engine with:a product that deliversa founder with a real POVcustomers who love usthe creative freedom to experimentand the mandate to produce work you’re proud ofThis is a rare opportunity to create content that actually matters — and to define how the industry talks about frontline training for years to come.LocationWhile this is a fully remote role, you must be living in one of the following states:NY, NJ, PA, CA, TX, NC, FL
